It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Julia Ann Phelps-Maloy of Angola, Indiana, who passed away on January 13, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Earl Parson and Doris Parson (John Maloy); and her son Thomas Phelps. She is survived by : her brother Ken Parson; and her children, Kathy Khandaker and Greg Phelps. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.

“I am so very sorry for your loss of this wonderful lady. She was a member of my gym and we all loved her. I loved talking with her when she would walk on the treadmill. I always called her speedy. She would walk and walk. Always talked about how much she loved her family. I will miss her smile in here at the gym. She was a bright light to me. Jill Winkler”
