He was predeceased by: his parents, Roderick M. Petre and Thelma L. Petre (Martin); and his wife Ruth L. Petre. He is survived by: his son Kevin Petre (Dawn) of Angola, Indiana; his grandchildren, Dylan Petre and Ayreal Lanman (John); his great grandchildren, Ayries, Phoenix, Cami, Charley, Harlow, Ember and Kohen; and his siblings, Ronald Petre, Tom Green, Phyllis, Carol, Barbara and Brenda.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, August 31st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Fremont Moose Lodge #2387 (2051 Toledo St, Fremont, IN 46737).
