Myra leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Myra’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Myra will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Wendell Goebel and Marilyn Goebel (Snyder); her husband Randy Gathman; her children, Joshua Shaffer (Melanie), Jory Moor, Jan Tyler Schilperoot and Casey Schilperoot (Shelly); and her sister Amy Hornyak.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Krill Funeral Home (860 W Mulberry St, Bryan, OH 43506). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions in memory of Myra may be given to the St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
