She was predeceased by: her parents, Fredrick B. Miller and Catherine Miller (Karst); her husband Maynard "Mike" Hartman; her siblings, Eldon Miller, Herbert Miller, Frank Miller, Heneriette Goebel, Francis Lemish, Betty Smith, Josephine Riddle and Mary Ferris; and her stepmother Francis Miller.
She is survived by: her children, Jerry L. Hartman (Tracey) of Waterloo, David M Hartman (Angela) of Byhalia, MS, Janice M. Wright (Guy) of Angola, Janet A Hinkley (Ted) of Angola and Peggy R. Sanders (Larry McDonald) of Orland; and her half-sister Connie Farley (Kent) of Idaho Falls, ID.. She is also survived by 32 grandchildren, 53 great grandchildren and 22 great great grandchildren.
Memorials can be given in memory of Phyllis to Riley's Children's Hospital or Shriners Hospital.
