He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Menefee and Lucille Menefee (Cary); and his siblings, Louise, Mary, Susie, Margaret and Richard.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Hortsman; his children, Theresa Menefee and Brent Menefee (Melinda); and his brother Kenneth Menefee (Pat). He is also survived by six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Covington Memorial Funeral Home (8408 Covington Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46804). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
