He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin Knecht and Geraldine Knecht (Bauer). He is survived by: his daughters, Gay Ann Berlien (Jim) of Fort Wayne, IN, Cathy Knecht of South Bend, IN, Rhonda Bobay (Denny) of Angola, IN and Amy Knecht Winter Haven (Hector Arroyo).
Visitation was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calvary Lutheran Church (1301 Williams St, Angola, IN 46703). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
