She was predeceased by: her parents, Edmond Gigerich and Mary Gigerich (Meierle); and her siblings, Don Gigerich and Lynn Gigerich. She is survived by: her husband Monte D. Smith of Angola, Indiana; her children, Grant B. Smith of Silver Spring and Claire E. Smith of Angola; and her sisters, Kay Gigerich of Aurora and Joyce Palmer of Aurora, Indiana..
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church (700 W Maumee St, Angola, IN 46703).
