He was predeceased by : his parents, Henry McNeal and Eileen McNeal (Butler); his wife Sharon McNeal (Oehler); his daughter Karen Renee McNeal; and his sister Marlene McNeal Amstutz.

He is survived by : his children, Diana McNeal, Joell Stuckey (Blaine) and Michael McNeal (Kelly); his sister Barbara Cabral; his granddaughters, Rachel Schnetzler (Zach), Audrey Fox (Ben), Anna Stuckey (Nick Chao), Emma Wilmer (Christian) and Eliza McNeal; his great grandchildren, Jackson Schnetzler and Mason Schnetzler; and his stepgranddaughters, Abigail, Natalie and Caitlin Lary. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
