She was predeceased by : her parents, William A. Varner and Joanna G. Varner (Whitcomb); and her uncles, Rex Whitcomb and Cecil Whitcomb. She is survived by : her sisters, Valerie Varner of Angola and Melanie Varner of Ashley, Indiana; her aunt Susie Manahan (Gary) of Angola, Indiana; and her uncle Steve Whitcomb of Angola.
