She was predeceased by : her parents, Oves "Cardell" Chapman and Vina Chapman (Ballenger); her husband John M. Sweigart; her siblings, Wanda Wethington and Ronnie Chapman; and her brother-in-law Francis Wethington.

She is survived by : her siblings, John Chapman (Jo) of Arcadia, IN, Rudy Chapman (Jenny) of Jamestown, KY and Cathy Grider (late Jimmy) of Arcadia, IN; and her sister-in-law Jackie Chapman of Jamestown, KY. She is also survived by several nieces & nephews, great nieces & nephews, & great-great nieces & nephews.
