He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert L. Reed and Sharla Mae Reed (Smith). He is survived by : his wife Donna Bateman; his daughters, Michele L. Harroll (Pastor Michael) of Willard and Heather Linville (Luther Sr.) of Arlington; his siblings, Richard C. Reed (Shirley) of Beech Grove, Ronald Lee Reed (Kathy) of Morristown, Robert C. Reed (Joy) of Greenfield and Mary Ann Branson (Mark) of Greenfield; his grandchildren, Luther Jr. Linville (Victoria), Noah Linville, Alyssa Klingstein, Ally Linville, Reed Linville, James Linville, Thomas Linville, Maddie Harroll and Maisy Harroll; and his great grandchild Evelyn Grace Linville. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Little Blue River Friends Church.
