She was predeceased by : her husband Jake Paterni; her parents, John Frey and Mary Frey; her brother Les Frey (Lucile); her brothers-in-law, Arnold Bettenga and Martin Boomgarden; and her nephew Glenn Frey.
She is survived by : her children, Royce Paterni (Marlene) and Rosella "Rosie" Van Hauen (Dale); her grandchildren, Chad Van Hauen (Kris), Tracie Van Hauen, Sara Mastran (Jarrod), Michael Paterni and Brian Paterni (Cristina Yu); her great grandchild Caden Meester; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Tyler and Jordan Moriarty; and her sister Gladys Boomgarden.
