He is survived by: his wife Kathy Lynn Pitts (Hottinger) of Atlanta, Indiana.; his stepson Eric Gang of Atlanta; his stepgrandchildren, Josie Dunkerson, Ethan Gang, Riley Downes and Hayden Downes; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Carter, Mila and Colton; his brother Charles David Pitts of Sheridan; his nieces, Megan McGuire (Matthew) of Atlanta and Meredith Cripe (Andrew) of Sheridan; and his pet Rebel.
