He was predeceased by : his mother Dorothy Wilkerson Brown of Oxford, Indiana.; his wife Beverly Rosa Brown; his siblings, Larry Brown, Carol Lockwood and Shirley Barton; his siblings-in-law, Shirley Brown and Dave Lockwood; and his niece Tammy Lockwood.

He is survived by : his brother John Brown; and his nieces and nephews, Angela Anderson, Tracy VanHook, Karen Shoaf, Kim Reid, Terry Lockwood, Tim Tarter and Tony Tarter.
