He was predeceased by: his parents, David Thomas and Lillian Rouse Neyhart (Barney); and his siblings, Melvin Neyhart, Cecil Neyhart, Timothy Neyhart and Carol Neyhart.

He is survived by: his wife Minnie "Cookie" E. Neyhart; his daughters, Valorie, Carla, Jamie Jo, Latisha Davis of Tucson, AZ, Waco Neyhart of Cincinnati, OH and Shawna Neyhart; and his siblings, Carl "Butch" Neyhart of Hobart, IN, Allen Neyhart (Deb) of Lake Station, IN and Melissa of Chicago, IL. He is also survived by several grandchildren and a great-grandson.
