He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Lee Silver and Mildred Jessie Bolander (Zimmer); his sister Carolyn Cecelia Jenkins (Bolander); his great grandchild Eric Lee Carlson; and his son-in-law Steve Moldthan.
He is survived by: his wife Lillian "Dody" Smith; his children, Brenda A. Moldthan of Lady Lake, FL, Linda L. Avery (Andrew) of The Villages, FL, Frederick M. Bolander (Linda) of Lafayette, IN, Nina M. Kmetz (Michael) of Maineville, OH, Rena A. Schleter (Robert) of Francisco, IN and Louis A. Bolander II of Noblesville, IN; Burdette George Bolander. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren and 4 great great-grandchildren.
