He is survived by: his daughter Abby Kerkhove (Joseph); his grandsons, Maxwell and Samuel; his son Joseph Remaklus (Kristen Rasnic Remaklus); his grandson Abner; and his siblings, Nick (Janice Remaklus) and Julia Remaklus Smith (Jeff Smith).
Visitation was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 10:00 AM and at 11:00 AM at the Family and Friends Funeral Home of Wingate With (9700 Old State Rd 55 N, Wingate, IN 47994). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at the same location.
