She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Garing and Adele Garing (Ringle); her husband Stanford "Stan" E. Evans; and her siblings, Ruth, Helen, Pat, Mildred and Bill Garing.

She is survived by: her children, Jennie Douglas (Gordon "Sonny") of Attica, Carrie Evans of Attica, George Evans (Valerie) of Attica, Frank Evans of Attica, Evan Evans (Joyce) of Carmel, IN and Richard Evans (Mark Ehrets); her siblings, Rosie Pilotte and Sam Garing (Betty) of Lanesville, IN; her grandchildren, Jamie, Tara, Taylor, Chloe, Sam, Kimmy, Ashley, Minda, Kaylan, Linsey and Anthony; and her pets, Miss Blue and Snoopy. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren; her pet.
