It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Travis Owens of Attica, Indiana, who passed away on August 20, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elvis Owens and Virgie Owens (Price); and his siblings, Dale Owens and Connie Biddle. He is survived by: his wife Nina Wiegand; his children, Mearl T. Owens Jr. (Samantha) of Attica and Jason Vern Owens (Michelle) of Attica; his siblings, Ina Johnson, Marge Ingals, David Owens, Edward Owens, Billy Owens, Jimmy Owens and Jerry Owens; and his grandchildren, Brittnay, Cole, Jake, Aryn, Chey, Kota, Teeya, Austen, Serena, Tyler and Haley. He is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren.
