He was predeceased by: his mother Margaret "Marie" McFerren Brier; his stepson Steve Christenberry; and his siblings, Thomas, Donald Brier, Patricia Bowman and Betty Crum.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Chuck Sundt (Amber), Mona Waterstraat (Dick), Mellisa Drake (Rusty), Russ Christenberry- of Oklahoma and Nick Christenberry- (Cheryl) of Texas. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild, as well as several nieces and nephews.
