He was predeceased by : his wife June R. Harding; his parents, Paul Ennis and Lois Mae Reddy (Green); and his brother-in-law Paul Howard. He is survived by : his children, Laurie Ennis of Auburn and Kent; his daughter-in-law Jennifer Ennis of Fort Wayne; his grandchildren, Amanda, Elizabeth, Chelesa, Devon, Alexa and Olivia; his great grandchildren, Jackson, Preston and Emery; his sister Luanne; his brother-in-law Howard Hanes of Advance; and his sister Lana Mae Howard of Auburn.

Memorial Donations may be given to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 681405, Indianapolis, Indiana 46268 and the DeKalb Humane Society, 5730 CR 11A, Auburn, Indiana 46706.
