He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Simmons and Martha Simmons. He is survived by: his wife Rita Simmons of Auburn; his daughter Keri; his son-in-law Mike Davison of Fort Wayne; his brother Steve; his sister-in-law Harriett Simmons of Fort Wayne; and his grandchildren, Justice Davison, Charlie Davison, Katie Sharp and Emily Sansom.
Memorial donations may be made to the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Automobile Museum.
