We bid farewell to Dean Waddell Sr. of Auburn, Indiana, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 27, 2025 at the age of 93. Dean touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Waddell and Eva Waddell (Johnson); his former wives, Patricia A. Jaax and Patricia Waddell; his sister Yvonne; his brother-in-law Robert Glass; his stepson Calvin Croy; and his stepgrandson Christopher Tittle.
He is survived by: his wife Frances Waddell (Warner) of Auburn, Indiana.; his daughters, Rebecca Waddell of South Bend, Indiana. and Laura; his son-in-law Jerry Cunningham of Elkhart, Indiana.; his daughter Amy; his son-in-law Brent Dermott of Aurora, Illinois.; his son Dean E. Waddell, Jr.; his daughter-in-law Beth Waddell of McDonald, Tennessee.; his son Daniel; his daughter-in-law Laurel Waddell of Colorado Springs, Colorado.; his stepchildren, Kenneth Croy of Auburn, Indiana. and Joyce Swihart (Ted Swihart); and his daughter-in-law Mary Hjelm of Hamilton, Indiana.. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren as well as numerous step grandchildren and step great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Feller and Clark Funeral Home (1860 S Center St, Auburn, IN 46706). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be made in memory of Dean to the Auburn Baptist Church, 1700 Old Brick Road, Auburn, Indiana 46706.
