Erma Wappes Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Erma Wappes of Auburn, Indiana, who passed away on January 5, 2026 at the age of 89. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Erma Wappes to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Angeline Muzzillo and Louis Muzzillo; her husband Max Wappes; her daughter Donna Fredrick; and her siblings, Ralph, Stanley, Art, Louis Muzzillo, Sue Kelly, Louise Shanabarger and Marge Weaver.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Wappes (Dana Robbins) of Auburn and Kathy; her son-in-law Dennis Arnold of Auburn; her grandchildren, Adam Arnold, Andrew Arnold, Kyle Wappes, Nathan Fredrick and Alyssa Zerns; and her brother Pete Muzzillo of Auburn. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made in Erma's memory to Masses or the American Diabetes Association.
