He was predeceased by: his father Max; his grandmother Segar; his siblings, Bob, Don and Nancy Allen; his son Larry; and his son-in-law Franco Romualdo.
He is survived by: his brother Clifford (Alice); and his children, Heidi Herr (Jeff), Susan Quick (Travis), Annette Romualdo and Daniel Segar. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.
