Frances left this world on May 24, 2025 at the age of 96, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Elkin and Harriet Joan Poindexter (Ellis); and her sister Margaret. She is survived by: her daughters, Bev DeOcampo (Frankie) of Napa, California, Susan Clarke of Indianapolis and Julie Diederich (Bobby) of Garrett, Indiana; her grandchildren, Mark Paustenbach, Shawn DeOcampo (Kaye), Michelle Castro (Tom), Andrew Thomas (Anna), Ashley Seaman (Rob), Cayla Veach (Justin), Hana Hyams (Michael), Ryan Diederich, Lily Hyams, Ben, Beau Thomas and Tyler DeOcampo; and also, Lola and Diesel Veach.
A graveside service was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Calcutta Cemetery.
