He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett L. Freed and Virginia M. Freed (Bowers); and his brother-in-law David Yeager. He is survived by: his daughters, Jodi Cox and Laura Glaser (Justin); his grandchildren, Keen Glaser, Addison Freed, Emery Cox, Lola Cox, Kora Glaser and Paislee Cox; his siblings, Kathy Yeager of Charlotte and Keith Freed (Tammie); his aunt Dorothy Ankney of North Carolina; and his close friends, Greg Diehl (Suzy) and Brian Cox. He is also survived by four nieces, one nephew, many cousins.
