He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Clevenger and Myrtle Clevenger; his great grandchild Jacob Hite; and his siblings, Sam Clevenger, Jack Clevenger, Fred Clevenger, Marilyn Swank and Ester Parker.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Clevenger of Auburn; his sons, Dan (Karen Clevenger) and Mike (Arlene Clevenger); his grandchildren, Laurie Hite, Scott Clevenger and D. J. Clevenger; his great grandchildren, Daniel Hite, Josie Hite and Allianna Hite; and his siblings-in-law, Jim Swank and Violet Clevenger.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Pinnington Funeral & Cremation Services (502 N Main St, Auburn, IN 46706). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be made to the Auburn Church of the Nazarene or Parkview Hospice.
