He was predeceased by: his parents, Waldo E. and Mary D. Hampshire; his wife Mary E. Hampshire; his son Johnny W. Hampshire; his grandson Brian Christopher Lee; his siblings, Donald P. Hampshire, Paul D. Hampshire (Dot), Marvin L. Hampshire (Fran), Margaret D. Galloway (Jim), Marilyn L. Holcom (Roy), Waldo Hampshire (Bonnie) and Kenneth Hampshire; and his former wife Patricia Wood.
He is survived by: his children, Louis "Ray" Lee (Lana), Debra J. Clevenger (Gary) and Jerry Lee (Janeen); and his sister-in-law Helen Hampshire. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the D. O. McComb & Sons Funeral Homes - Covington Knolls (8325 Covington Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46804).
