He was predeceased by : his parents, Lois A. Puls and James R. Puls. He is survived by : his wife Donna Cheek-Puls of Hudson, IN.; his son Bryan Puls (Wendy); his grandchildren, Jackson, Jolie and Ashley of Fishers, IN; his son Daniel Puls (Rachel); his grandchildren, Reese and Delaney of Indianapolis, IN; his daughter Leah Suthers (Heath); his grandchildren, Brianna, Callie, Drew, Gavyn and Savannah of Fort Wayne, IN.; his stepchildren, Trenton Cheek of San Diego, CA and Tori Hanewald (Christopher) of Memphis, TN; and his brothers, Mike Puls (Dianne) of Dallas, TX and John Puls (Sheila) of Geneseo, IL..

Visitation was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Feller and Clark Funeral Home (1860 S Center St, Auburn, IN 46706). A celebration of life was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
