She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Johnston and Joan Johnston (Luttman); her husband John Cain Sr.; her daughter Tonya Axsom; her grandchildren, Kassidy Cain and Larry "Bean" Griffin Jr.; her great grandchild Kylie Everage; her brothers, Jim Johnston, Richard Johnston, Harold Johnston Jr. and Donald Johnston; and her brothers-in-law, Tom House, Bill Shetley Sr. and Jack Shetley.
She is survived by: her children, Joan Deetz (Glen) of Auburn, John "Butch" Cain Jr. (Lanna) of Fort Wayne, Gail Denman (Jim) of Angola, Adam Cain (Kathleen) of Auburn and Joe Cain (Priscilla) of Auburn; her siblings, Elizabeth House of Oregon, Hettie Shetley of Auburn, Colleen Shetley of Auburn, Robert Johnston of Auburn and David Johnston of Auburn; and her sister-in-law Pat Johnston of Auburn. She is also survived by 28 grandchildren: 47 great-grandchildren.
