He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Hasty and Joan Hasty (Grabner). He is survived by: his wife Beth Hasty of Auburn; his daughter Angie White of North Carolina; his stepchildren, Ben Huth (Brandi) of Kendallville, Sara McGinnis of Wabash and Katie Platter of Auburn; his sisters, Annette Smith (Tim) of Fort Wayne and Carolyn Conner (Denny) of Battleground; and his pets, Piper and Ellie. He is also survived by 11 step-grandchildren; one step-great-grandchild.
