She was predeceased by: her parents, Loyd Hale and Inez Hale (Messer); her husband John Leo Eckstein; her granddaughter Mekayla Jo Bales; and her brother Gary Lee Hale.
She is survived by: her daughter Samantha Baker (Chad) of Garrett, IN; and her siblings, Timothy Hale of Hanna, IN, Melady Jo Kleist of Hanna, IN and Palasteen Brown of Hanna, IN. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
