He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Richard, Ann Penland, Rudi and Christa Florreich; and his uncle Denny Penland.
He is survived by: his parents, Michael R Penland and Sabine Penland (Florreich) of Auburn; his uncles, Tom Florreich of Kendallville, Jeff (Jeanne Penland), Eric (Cindy Penland) and Barry (Misheila Penland); his aunt Deb Penland of Auburn; and his cousins, Thomas Baugher, Jamie McKean, Kristy Dibble, Craig Penland, Zachary Penland, Kevin Penland, Jason Penland, Stacy Tatman, Jessica Penland, Bruce Wilson and Al Wilson.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A rosary will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Feller and Clark Funeral Home (875 S Wayne St, Waterloo, IN 46793). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Michaels Catholic Church (1098 Co Rd 39, Waterloo, IN 46793). A burial will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at the St. Michael's Cemetery.
