Terry M. Dean Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Terry M. Dean of Auburn, Indiana, who passed away on July 14, 2025 at the age of 71. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Terry M. Dean to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard D. Dean and Bertha E. Dean (Reeb); and his brother Howard N. Dean. He is survived by: his wife Diane S. Dean of Auburn; his children, Mandy Blackwell (Aaron) of Madison, Megan Smith (Doug) of Leo, Mallory Dean of Fort Wayne and Trace Dean (Kelsey) of Waterloo; his grandchildren, Harper Smith, Dawson Smith, Maddy Dean, Cooper Dean and Mitchell Dean (Lucas Dean); his stepgrandchildren, Hayden, Raygan, Everlee and Lake; his sister Shirley A. Rhody of Hobart; his father-in-law Richard Kutzner (Patty) of Auburn; his brother-in-law Dennis Kutzner (Carol) of Fort Wayne; his sibling's children, Jeffrey Rhody, Jeremy Dean, Julie Rhody, Krissy Reese and Karla Salyer; his mother-in-law Jo Ann Kutzner; and his brother-in-law Moe Rhody.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Feller and Clark Funeral Home (1860 S Center St, Auburn, IN 46706). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials donations may be made to the Terry Dean Memorial Scholarship that will be awarded to a DeKalb High School academic student athlete. This scholarship will be in the care of Community Foundation of DeKalb County.
