With sadness, we share the passing of Thomas Gordon of Auburn, Indiana. Thomas, born on September 26, 1938, passed away on September 15, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James L. Gordon and Madelaine K. Gordon (Winekoop); his son John Gordon; his grandchildren, Tyson Gordon and Stephanie Bonilla; his son-in-law Keith Covey; his siblings, Richard Gordon, James Gordon and Barbara Jean; his siblings-in-law, Dave Sweet, Charles Sweet, Mike Sweet, Helen Gordon and Eva Gordon; and his parents-in-law, Elsie Sweet Keck and Robert Keck.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Gordon of Auburn; his daughter Lorelle; his son-in-law Thomas Landry of Albion; his children, Leslie Mezie of Sebring, Florida, Mark Thomas Gordon of Angola and Sue Ann Covey of Auburn; his grandchildren, Bryce (Trista Gordon), Alicia (Josh Bonilla), Lana (John Cain), Jennifer Ladig, Jared Murphy, Meghan Murphy, Nicholas Mezie, Michael Mezie and Miguel Bonilla; and his siblings, Virginia Hill of Fort Wayne and Don Gordon of New Haven. He is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (1801 N Main St, Auburn, IN 46706). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be made in Tom's memory to Trinity Lutheran Church.
