He was predeceased by: his mother Annabelle Scott Sr. Walter; and his sister Patty Jo Heath. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn of Hall's Factory; his children, Debbie Kohne (Scott) of Cary, N. C., Gale Diederich (Terry) of Garrett and Linda Scott of Tampa, Fla.; and his stepsons, Steven Hand (Lili) of Auburn and Daren Shaffer of St. Petersburg, Fla.. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
