She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Simpson and Gladys Simpson (Johnston); her husband Glenn Canfield; her son David; her sisters, Joan (Ralph Rose) and Lois (Eddie Bortmas); her nieces, Doris Kinnett (Lawrence) and Sharon Dyer (Billy); and her nephew Gaylord Houze (Carole).

She is survived by: her niece Debbie Parr of Poland, OH; her nephew Noel Houze, Sr. (Larry Bortmas) of Aurora; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Tim Dyer (Anita) of Moores Hill, Lynn Dyer (Kelly) of Dillsboro, Noel Houze, Jr. (Susan) of Milan, Debbie Kleinholz (Greg) of St. Robert, Cindy Houze of Dillsboro and Bonita Palmer (Richard) of Cincinnati.

Memorials may be given to Life Church (formerly the Alliance Church) of Aurora, Aurora Fire Department or Aurora Life Squad.
