Betty L. Mericle Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of Betty L. Mericle (Aurora, Indiana). Betty, born on August 27, 1940, passed away on July 11, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alta Ruth Daugherty (Baker) and Robert Daugherty; her husband Clifford "Butch" Mericle; her children, James, Jason and Jana Mericle; her brothers, Gene "Buck" Daugherty (Charlotte Morehead Daugherty) and James (Johnnie) of Aurora; and her sister-in-law Charlotte Morehead.
She is survived by: her siblings, Wayne Daugherty (Lynne) of Vevay, IN and Pat Yelton (Bob) of Orlando, FL. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to the South Dearborn Dollars for Scholars – James, Jason, & Jana Mericle Scholarship Fund, or to Rullman Hunger Funeral Home to assist with expenses.
