He was predeceased by: his parents, James Cleary and Etta Cleary (Wethington); his son Daniel "Danny" Cleary (Darrell Potter) of Aurora; his brother Glen Cleary; his grandsons, Zachary Cleary and Colton Sizemore; and his sister-in-law Joann Cleary.
He is survived by: his wife Pat Cleary of Aurora; his children, James Hunter of Owenton, KY, Jamie Lee Johnson (Crystal) of Patriot, Pamela Tingle of Milan, Libby Morrison (Stuart) of Lexington, IN, Debbra Proffitt of Milan and Donna Holt (Stephen Aleman) of Cincinnati, OH; and his siblings, James "Buster" Cleary of Bright, Gene Cleary (Toni) of Guilford, Charles "Chuck" Cleary (Mary Jo) of Greendale and Gaye Swain (David) of Florida. He is also survived by many grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, Granny and Papaw.
Memorials may be given in honor of Don to Hoosier Hills Baptist Church Camp.
