He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Edward Meyer and Ruth Janet Meyer (Johnson); and his daughter Karlita Meyer. He is survived by: his daughters, Donna Allen of Aurora and Ruthann Stenger (Kyle) of Aurora; his grandchildren, Kristi Grehl, Kayla Grehl, Tiffany Niewedde (Jason), Taylor Grehl (Isabella), Tyler Meyer and Millie Stenger; his great grandchildren, Annabelle, Carter and Fredrick Niewedde; his former wife Evelyn Meyer of Aurora; and his close friend Bonnie Corns of Lawrenceburg.

Memorials may be given in honor of Donnie to South Dearborn Dollars for Scholars in regard to the Karlita Meyer Scholarship Fund.
