He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Melcher and Leona Melcher; his brother Robert; and his brother-in-law Phil. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Hayes; his children, John and Ryan (Reegan); his grandchildren, Gwendolyn, Wyatt and Finn; and his siblings, Nancy, Gary, Claire, Greg, Patricia and Annette.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home (625 Browns Lake Dr, Burlington, WI 53105). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church (148 W Main St, Lake Geneva, WI 53147). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM at the St. Mary Cemetery.
