She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernie Nichols and Edith Nichols (Johnson); her husband John Rowland; and her siblings, Buster Nichols, Winnie Palmer and Brenda Gabbard.

She is survived by: her daughters, Debbie Rowland of Aurora, IN, Linda Vornheder (Steve) of Guilford, IN, Pam Clark (Rex Howe) of Aurora, IN and Diana Bischoff (Victor) of Aurora, IN; her siblings, Kernie Nichols (Linda) of Dillsboro, IN and Donna Brightwell of Milan, IN.; and her grandchildren, Katrina (Josh), Darryl John (Angie), Jacob (Christa), Maegan (Gavin), John, Thomas (Kim), Joseph (Caroline), Joshua (Emily), Jordan and Jessica (George). She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and many other beloved family members and friends.
