We announce the death of James Robert Gulley (Aurora, Indiana), who passed away on August 19, 2026, at the age of 88. James Robert will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Gulley and Helen Gulley (Powell); and his sister Loretta Jean Tebelman. He is survived by: his spouse Zana C. Gulley; his sons, David K. Gulley and Jeffrey A. Gulley (Johanna Fordyce); his grandchildren, Hunter Gulley (Cherika), Hannah Jones (Dakota), Hope Landers (Dylan) and Eden Janae Gulley; his great grandchild Sutton Jones; and his sister Charla Corridan.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Rullman Hunger Funeral Home (219 Mechanic St, Aurora, IN 47001). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Aurora EMS in James's memory.
