Janice E. Uhlmansiek Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Janice E. Uhlmansiek (Aurora, Indiana), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 17, 2026 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carroll Higham and Juanita York Higham; her husband Harley Uhlmansiek; and her siblings, Patty LaVelle and David Higham.
She is survived by: her children, Sherri Walter (Tracy) of North Carolina and Tim Uhlmansiek (Shelly) of Shelbyville, Indiana; her granddaughter Amber Mains; her great grandchildren, Lesleigh Eaton of North Carolina and Daphne Mains of North Carolina; her sister Sandy Bruce (Norman) of Aurora; and her siblings-in-law, Deb Higham of Batesville and Gary LaVelle of Rising Sun. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers the family asks donations be made to Dearborn County 4-H and Sparta Baptist Church.
