It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jay Thomas Acklam in Aurora, Indiana, born in Racine, Wisconsin, who passed away on January 8, 2024, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George Jane and Mary Jane. He is survived by: his wife Dolly; his canine pals, Moses and Charo; his siblings, Todd Acklam (Janet), Kris Green (Mike) and Mary Ann Demanche (Larry); his nephews, Tyler and Taylor Albright; his friends, Todd of Texas, Mark and Joan; and also Pete.

Memorials to the American Lung Association have been suggested.
