With sadness, we share the passing of Ruby Faye Phelps of Aurora, Indiana. Ruby, born on August 12, 1938, passed away on May 31, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Bert Hansford and Laura Hansford (West); her husband Joseph Donald Phelps; and her siblings, Arnold, Delmar, Phyllis and Ruth.

She is survived by: her children, Pam Kuntz (Dan) of Harrison, Ohio, Donald Allen Phelps (Angel) of Aurora, Timmy Elam of Aurora and Dwayne Elam of Aurora, Indiana; and her grandchildren, Michelle Michels (Steve), Joseph Frogge, Sarah Wilson (Brian), Danyelle Fritsch (Rob), Lori Phelps and Rebecca Phelps. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
