Thomas Schmied Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thomas Schmied of Aurora, Indiana, who passed away on August 30, 2025 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Schmied and Margaret Schmied (Epley); his wife Amy Berne Schmied; and his sister Sandy Butterfield. He is survived by: his children, Steve Schmied, Josie Thompson (Timothy) and Andrea Roth (David); his stepdaughter Michele Lee (Andrew); his brother Don Schmied (Pam); and his grandchildren, Jada Rinderle, Jaycee Rinderle, Jasmyn Rinderle, Amy Kaye Schmied, Jolie Thompson, WillowThompson, Keller Anderson and Linux Lee. He is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.
