He was predeceased by: his parents, Hillard Amburgey and Lona Amburgey (Pridemore); his siblings, Estill, John, Ben, Tommy, Phillip Amburgey, Marlene Lakins, Maxine Noble, Peggy Turner and Colene Rowe; and his great grandchildren, Joseph Albert and Jadyn.
He is survived by: his wife Carol A. Amburgey (Cook); his daughter Tammy Madden (Billy) of Austin, Indiana; his granddaughter Jessie Madden; and his great grandchild Odie. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
