With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Arbutis C. Snowden of Austin, Indiana, born in Beattyville, Kentucky, who passed away on August 26, 2023 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Noah Couch and Addie Couch (Holloway); her husband Joe Snowden; her sons, Myron Neal Snowden and Charles "Pappy" Snowden; and her siblings, Eugene Couch, Clifford Couch, Beulah Couch Ross and Hazel Couch Wiscomb.

She is survived by : her children, Teresa Jo Stanley (Jesse) of Newalla, Linda Snowden of Louisville and Gary Lee Snowden (Brenda) of Seymour, Indiana.; and her grandchildren, Josh Stanley, Jake Snowden, Myra Christie, Gariathon Snowden and Joseph Snowden. She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren.
